What it is
An internal tool for HandlerKraft that brings stock levels from the 1C accounting system into Shopify, using the Excel export the company already produces.
The problem
Stock lives in 1C; the store needs accurate availability. Transferring quantities by hand was slow and introduced errors.
What I built
The operator uploads 1C's Excel export. The tool sums quantities across locations (depot and showroom), matches rows to Shopify products, shows matches and stock changes for review, and then updates inventory through the Shopify API. The flow is prepared for a scheduled, automated sync later.
Reliability and safety
- Review step shows every match and stock change before the update
- Updates set absolute quantities, so running the same export twice changes nothing
Outcome
- Stock refreshes take one upload and a review instead of manual edits.
